1. Description – APPSC FBO & ABO Recruitment 2025

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has issued Notification No. 06/2025 for the recruitment of Forest Beat Officer (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) in the A.P. Forest Subordinate Service.

A total of 691 vacancies have been notified — 256 for FBO and 435 for ABO, including vacancies reserved for Meritorious Sportspersons (MSP).

Eligible candidates can apply online at https://psc.ap.gov.in from 16 July 2025 to 05 August 2025.

3. Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025):
   - Minimum: 18 years
   - Maximum: 30 years
3. Age Relaxation:
   • SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years
   • SC/ST for CF Vacancies: 10 years
4. Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent.

1. Passport Size Photograph: Must be recent, clear, and with a light background.

2. Signature: Preferably signed in black ink on white paper.

3. SSC / 10th Class Certificate: Used as proof of Date of Birth and basic education.
   Format: PDF / JPG | Max Size: ≤ 1 MB
4. Intermediate / Equivalent Certificate: Mandatory qualification for FBO & ABO posts.

5. Caste / Community Certificate (if applicable): For SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates; must be issued by Tahsildar.
