Indian Air Force has released the official notification for Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. Both unmarried male and female candidates can apply online from 11 July to 31 July 2025. The online exam will be conducted from 25 September 2025 onwards. This recruitment offers a 4-year engagement period with competitive pay, training, and opportunity to serve in the Indian Air Force. 3. Eligibility

• Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive). The maximum age on enrolment should not exceed 21 years.
• Marital & Pregnancy Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply. Female candidates must undertake not to become pregnant during the 4-year engagement period.
• Educational Qualification:
  For Science Subjects:
  • 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, OR
  • 3-Year Diploma in Engineering with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the diploma course, OR
  • 2-Year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English
  For Other Than Science Subjects:
  • 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English, OR
  • 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English

3. Complete the registration process using a valid mobile number and email ID.
4. Fill the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and domicile details.

6. Pay the application fee online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
7. Review the form carefully and submit the application.
8. Download and print the final submitted application form and payment receipt for future reference.

7. Required Documents to Apply for Agniveer Vayu 02/2026

1. Class 10th passing certificate (as proof of date of birth)
2. 12th / Diploma / Vocational course certificates & marksheets
3. Domicile Certificate or COAFP (Certificate for Candidates from Armed Forces Personnel) if applicable

8. Agniveer Vayu 02/2026 Selection Process

1. Phase-I: Online Test – Computer-based test (CBT) conducted based on the candidate’s educational stream (Science or Non-Science subjects).
2. Phase-II:
   • Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – Includes 1.6 Km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats
   • Adaptability Test-I – Situational judgment-based test
   • Adaptability Test-II – Assesses suitability for the Indian Air Force environment
   • Document Verification – Verification of all uploaded original documents
3. Phase-III: Medical Examination – Final medical test as per Indian Air Force standards at designated centers.
4. Candidates are shortlisted based on normalized CBT scores and state-wise cut-offs.
5. Final selection is subject to clearing all phases, document verification, and meeting medical fitness criteria.

9. Vacancy Details

The Indian Air Force has not specified a fixed number of vacancies. Selection and final enrolment are done state-wise, and depend on performance, medical fitness, and availability of seats.

10. Agniveer Vayu 2025 Salary Structure

Agniveervayu selected under the Agnipath Scheme will receive a monthly package starting from ₹30,000 with annual increments. Additional allowances include risk & hardship, dress, and travel. After 4 years of service, candidates receive a one-time Seva Nidhi Package of approximately ₹10.04 lakhs (excluding interest).
