1. Description

NHPC Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released the official notification for the Engagement of Apprenticeship Trainees (Advt. No: NH/Rectt./03/2025). A total of 361 apprentice positions in ITI, Diploma, and Graduate trades will be offered across various NHPC locations including Faridabad, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Ladakh, West Bengal, and Arunachal Pradesh. The training duration is one year, extendable to two years. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website from 11 July 2025 to 11 August 2025.

1. Age Limit: Minimum: 18 years | Maximum: 30 years
   Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.
2. Educational Qualifications:
   
   • Graduate Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg) in relevant discipline, MBA, B.Com, LLB, etc.
   • Diploma Apprentice: Diploma in relevant discipline.
   • ITI Apprentice: ITI in relevant trade from a recognized institute.

• Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000/month
• Diploma Apprentice: ₹13,500/month
• ITI Apprentice: ₹12,000/month
• Includes DBT benefit from Govt. of India.
• Additional Allowance: ₹2,500/month if accommodation is not provided.

7. Selection Process

• No Interview. Selection will be purely merit-based on marks in
• Graduate Apprentice: 10th (20%) + 12th/Diploma (20%) + Degree (60%)
• Diploma Apprentice: 10th (30%) + Diploma (70%)
• ITI Apprentice: 10th (30%) + ITI (70%)

8. How to Apply for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Interested and eligible candidates must follow the two-step application process as outlined below:

Step 1: Register on Apprenticeship Portal

Depending on the type of apprenticeship, candidates must first register themselves online:

• For Graduate & Diploma Apprentices:
  Register at NATS Portal
  Complete the profile and upload all educational and personal documents.
• For ITI Apprentices:
  Register at NAPS Portal
  Fill in trade details, education, and upload required certificates.

Important: Only candidates with a valid NATS/NAPS registration number will be eligible to apply on the NHPC portal.

Step 2: Apply on NHPC Website

Once registered on the apprenticeship portal:

1. Visit the official NHPC website: www.nhpcindia.com
2. Go to “Careers” → “Engagement of Apprentices” → Click on “Apply Now”.
3. Fill the online application form with correct personal, academic, and trade details.
4. Upload the following required documents:
   • Completed NATS/NAPS registration proof
   • Scanned educational certificates & mark sheets
   • Age proof (10th certificate)
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
   • Recent passport-size photo and signature
5. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

Final Steps After Selection:

1. The list of selected candidates will be published on NHPC's website.
2. A training contract will be issued through the respective NATS/NAPS portal.
3. Candidates must accept the offer and digitally sign the contract on the respective portal to complete the joining process.
